Ya see that train in the background of this photo? That's MY train photo. The photographer that took this portrait asked if he could use my photo, and he layered it into his portrait. Pretty cool, huh? I like the results!

Yesterday Karen and I went to The Stroh Center at Bowling Green State University to get some photos after dark. This building is the new home for Falcon basketball and volleyball. Although I haven't been inside yet, it looks very impressive after dark when the interior lights are on. Enjoy the photo.

Video: CSX on the move in Fostoria

Since I haven't posted here in a couple weeks, here's a train video that I took last week in Fostoria, Ohio.  I have more of these videos to edit, and when I'm done I'll share those, too.

I found these cute squirrels last weekend that I wanted to share here.

When is a hamburger really a cheeseburger?

Question of the Day:  When is a hamburger really a cheeseburger?  Answer:  Anytime you order one at Wendy’s.

Yesterday I left work early, about noontime, and went to the drive-thru at Wendy’s in Bowling Green.  It’s rare that I use the drive-thru, but I was in a hurry and just wanted a sandwich and some fries.  I pulled up to the kiosk and told the girl I wanted “a single with catsup and an order of fries.”  It sounded like a simple order to me.  Not so, my friend!

I hurried home and set my bag of lunch on the kitchen table.  I pulled the container of french fries out of the bag, then I pulled the foil-wrapped burger from the sack, and placed it on the table.  When I opened the wrapping on the burger I found the bun, some meat, the catsup, and to my horror, two slices of cheese melted onto the whole thing!  One on the top and one on the bottom!

That cheese was melted just enough that I couldn’t get it loose from the bun and the meat.  I was angry at Wendy’s… I don’t understand why they think an order for a burger means it’s a cheeseburger.  Anyplace else that I order a burger, it’s a burger unless I say I want cheese on it (which I never do).  You see, I don’t like cheese.  Never have, and never will.  Call me odd or call me strange—that’s just the way I am.  I’m still angry at Wendy’s.  This will make me think twice about going to Wendy’s again anytime in the near future…

Karen had a cheeseburger for lunch that she didn’t expect, and I had fries that didn’t fill me up.

I’m going to e-mail Wendy’s and let them know of my dissatisfaction.  I’ll be surprised if I hear from them, but it’s just what I feel like doing.

At  Levis Commons, a shopping and entertainment complex in Perrysburg, Ohio there is a clock tower in the middle of the area that is very pretty at night.  I stopped there last night at about dusk to get a few shots.  This is actually prettier after dark, but I wasn't there that late this time.  Enjoy the pictures.

Tulips in Bloom

Last week, while the tulips were in full bloom, I went to Simpson Garden Park in Bowling Green, Ohio to get a few pictures.  As you can see, the tulips were beautiful.  I hope you enjoy them.
